FAQ
Everything You Need To Know
Help, my pool has turned green! What can I do?
If your pool has turned green you probably aren’t using sufficient sanitiser or you’re not running the pump and filter as often as you should.
Why is my pool water cloudy?
Cloudy water is often an early indication that you’re not using enough chlorine or filtration is inadequate, although it can also occur after a storm.
My pool seems to be losing water, how do I check for leaks?
Water is often lost to natural evaporation but a quick and easy way to check if your pool is leaking is to place a bucket filled with water on the pool step. You’ll need to weigh it down with a brick or rock. Make sure the water level on the inside of the bucket is the same as on the outside. Mark a line at the water level on the inside and outside and leave for 24 hours. If after this time there is a bigger drop from the line on the outside of the bucket, you probably have a water leak. To investigate further, test again with the pump on and then with the pump off.
